Professor Beni Lauterbach
Biography
Professor Lauterbach received a Ph.D. degree in Finance from the University of Chicago, and is currently the Raymond Ackerman Family Chair Professor in Israeli Corporate Governance at Bar Ilan University School of Business.
Professor Lauterbach published more than 60 academic papers, including several papers in the top three finance journals. His main research interests include Corporate Governance, Financial Markets Microstructure and Asset Pricing. In recent years he organizes and hosts a yearly international academic conference on Corporate Governance.
Beyond his academic activity Professor Lauterbach is the Chairman of the Israeli External Directors Association and a former Chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Israeli Directors Association. In addition, in the past thirty years he chaired and was a member of investment committees at several institutional investors.
