Mr Hagen Schweinitz

Hagen is leading Eric Salmon & Partner’s Board and Governance Advisory Practice. He specializes in C-Level Executive and Board/Non-Executive searches across all industry sectors. A major part of his work is the recruitment and evaluation of Non-Executive Board Directors.

He is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and has published whitepapers on boards and Blockchain, non-executive directors in technology companies, and on corporate governance in Iran. Hagen serves on the board of INSEAD’s International Directors Network and the Armenian Institute of Directors (AIOD) in Yerevan, Armenia, and is the Chair of the Advisory Board of “European Women on Boards” (EWOB).

He is the moderator of ecoDA’s European Board Diploma, and a regular guest lecturer at lecturing at the female board directors’ programs of "European Women on Boards" (EWoB) and the Armenian Corporate Governance Center and INSEAD’s IN-BOARD initiative. He also serves as President of the regional Oxford Business Alumni chapter.

Hagen was educated at the University of Oxford, where he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School and took part in the High Performance Leadership Program (HPLP); and at INSEAD, where he completed the International Directors Program (IDP-C) and holds the Advanced Certificate in Corporate Governance.

He is a member of the Royal Society of Asian Affairs in London and a Life Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland.

He speaks English, German and Farsi.
