ECGI Fellows
ECGI awards the honorific title of Fellow of ECGI to individuals who have demonstrated scientific excellence or other outstanding achievements in the area of corporate governance. This is not a membership category. ECGI Fellows are research members.
ECGI Fellows are the leading lights of the network and usually household names as a result of their widely used research. They influence policy, practice, further research, and teaching curricula. While there are many qualifying members in the ECGI network, the honour is only bestowed to a small number of scholars every two years.
Four ECGI Fellows are recipients of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, officially the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.
When is the next possible opportunity to be elected a Fellow?
ECGI will next be conducting an election of Fellows in 2025. This will be initiated by the ECGI Fellowship Committee and held in a privately run election across the ECGI Fellows. Applications are not accepted.
Can I apply?
It is not possible to apply to become a Fellow. It is possible to apply to become a Research member of ECGI or other categories of membership.
