The second online public lecture in this series will be given by Mariassunta Giannetti of Stockholm School of Economics and ECGI on the topic, “Beyond ESG: Executive Pay Metrics and Shareholder Support”
Compensation contracts feature a multitude of market, earnings, operating, and ESG metrics, Compensation metrics do not appear to have a large effect on actual payouts to executives and on the sensitivity of pay to market, earnings, and ESG performance, but rather aim to create consensus among shareholders on the proposed pay and the overall corporate strategy.
Lecture date and time: Wednesday, 5 February 2025 | 12:00 – 13:00 EST (18:00 – 19:00 CET)
The public lecture series is organised by the Kelley School of Business Institute for Corporate Governance (ICG+E), in partnership with Ethical Systems and ECGI.
