Professor Nadya Malenko
Biography
Nadya Malenko is a Professor of Finance and Wargo Family Faculty Fellow at Boston College, Carroll School of Management, Seidner Department of Finance. She is also the President of Finance Theory Group, a faculty research associate at the NBER, a research member of ECGI, and a research fellow of CEPR. Her research examines shareholder voting, the design of corporate boards, shareholder activism, private equity, and the allocation of authority in organizations. Her work has been published in top academic journals and has received several awards, including the Journal of Finance Distinguished Paper Brattle Prize and best paper awards from leading academic conferences. She is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Editor of the ECGI Working Paper Finance Series, and she serves on the board of directors of the American Finance Association, European Finance Association, and Western Finance Association. She received her Ph.D. in Finance from Stanford University.
