Extraordinary Degree Award from the Complutense University (Spain). PhD in Law from the University of Bologna (Italy). Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Visiting Researcher at Harvard University (USA). Professor of Commercial and Corporations Law (CUNEF, Madrid) and member of the teaching staff of the Instituto de Empresa (Madrid). Consultant (and former partner and head of the Spanish Corporate/M&A practice) at Clifford Chance. Member of the Spanish Privatisation Advisory Board since its creation (1996). Member of the CNMV´s Advisory Committee from 2016/2024, appointed by the CNMV itself from among ‘persons of recognised prestige’. Author of an extensive scientific work, mainly devoted to company law and securities markets law.
