Prof. Geeyoung Min

Geeyoung Min joined the Michigan State University College of Law as an Assistant Professor of Law in 2019. She teaches Securities Regulation and Business Enterprises. Professor Min’s research focuses on the issues of corporate law and governance with both doctrinal and empirical emphasis. While her primary focus is on publicly-traded companies in the U.S., she also employs comparative analytical methods by examining the issues in other countries, especially those in East Asia.

Prior to joining the Law College faculty, Professor Min taught at University of Virginia School of Law as a Research Assistant Professor of Law and at Columbia Law School as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law. She received her B.A. in anthropology and B.L. in law from Seoul National University, followed by LL. M. and J.S.D. from Yale Law School, where she was a recipient of Lillian Goldman Scholarship and John. M. Olin Summer Fellowship.
