Biography

Vivian Fang is a Professor of Finance at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Vivian’s research lies at the intersection of corporate finance, market microstructure, and financial accounting. Her recent work has studied issues related to managerial myopia, executive compensation, accounting fraud, and Fintech. She has published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Accounting Research, ​and Management Science. Her work has been featured in various media outlets and won several research awards.  Prior to pursuing an academic career, she worked as a tax consultant for Deloitte Tax LLP.
