Professor Ruth V. Aguilera
Biography
Ruth V. Aguilera (Harvard University, Ph.D.) is the Distinguished Darla and Frederick Brodsky Trustee Professor in Global Business at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a Visiting Professor at ESADE Business School in her native Barcelona. Ruth’s research, teaching and consulting interests lie at the intersection of strategic organization and global strategy, specializing in international corporate governance and corporate social responsibility/sustainability.
Ruth serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the International Corporate Governance Society, and in the international advisory committees of Rennes School of Business (France), IAE Business School (Argentina), Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (India), and ESADE Center of Corporate Governance (Spain). She is a Fellow of the Academy of International Business, Academy of Management, and the Strategic Management Society. She was a Senior Editor at Corporate Governace: An Internatioal Review, is an outgoing Senior Editor at Organization Science where she served over six years and is currently an Associate Editor at Academy of Management Review.
