Biography
Sergio Gilotta is associate professor in business law at the University of Bologna, where he teaches business law and financial markets regulation. He holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Law and Financial Markets Regulation from the University of Bologna and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Before joining the Bologna Law School in 2012, he taught International Commercial Law at the School of Economics of the University of Bologna and has been Research Fellow at the University of Florence. His research interests range from comparative corporate law to financial markets regulation, and include topics such as corporate disclosure, group law, financial derivatives, insider trading, takeover law, sustainable finance.
