Biography

Lilian Ng is Professor of Finance and holds the ScotiaBank Chair in International Finance. Prior to joining the Schulich School of Business, she held permanent positions at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Texas-Austin, and City University of Hong Kong, and visiting positions at the University of Southern California, University of California-Irvine, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, National University of Singapore, and Nanyang Technological University. Her research interests are in global supply chains, corporate social responsibility, international financial markets, and institutional trading behavior. She has won several best research paper awards at national and international conferences and some of her works were featured in the New York Times, Smart Money Magazine, the Straits Times (Singapore), Business Times (Singapore), and Columbia Law School’s Blog on Corporations and the Capital Markets.
