Biography

Aleksandra Gregorič is Associate Professor at the Center for Corporate Governance, Department of International Economics and Management at the Copenhagen Business School (Denmark). She is also affiliated with the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). Aleksandra holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Ljubljana. During her Ph.D. and early career, she focused primarily on corporate governance issues in transition. Her present research is multidisciplinary, combining economics, sociology and social psychology. Using these lenses, she studies issues related to gender diversity or, broadly, gender economics, and issues related to workers’ participation in firm governance. She currently chairs the International Association for the Economics of Participation (IAFEP). She is a member of the International Corporate Governance Society (ICGS), European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), Nordic Corporate Governance Network, and European Association of Comparative Economic Studies (EACES). Her work appears in Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, The Economics of Transition, European Financial Management Journal, and Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics, among others.
