Biography

Torsten Jochem is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. His academic research is focused on corporate governance and executive compensation. One area of particularly interest are peer effects in governance. He also conducts research on broader notions of governance such as the governance and efficiency of teams, or the consequences from differences in voting mechanisms in democratic institutions. Torsten received his PhD in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013.
