Prof. Tao Li

Dr. Tao Li is the Bank of America Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University in 2013. Dr. Li's research interests include corporate governance, financial institutions, FinTech, and hedge funds. 

He has contributed to the academic community through his involvement in various professional services, such as serving on the program committee for the FMA Consortium on Asset Management in 2024 and as a reviewer for journals like the Journal of Finance and the Review of Financial Studies. 

At Warrington, Dr. Li teaches courses including Blockchain & Crypto (FIN6930) and Financial Management (FIN4414).
