Biography

Tobias Tröger is Professor of Private Law, Commercial and Business Law and Jurisprudence at the House of Finance at Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main. He is also a Director of the Cluster Law and Finance at the Leibniz Institute Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe (SAFE) and an Associate Professor at the Institute of Monetary and Financial Stability (IMFS), two Frankfurt based think tanks devoted to providing cutting edge research and evidence-based policy advice. Tobias Tröger inter alia advises the European Parliament on matters of banking supervision. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen and Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.
