Professor Mireia Giné

Mireia Giné's research is on corporate goverance, M&A, ownership and innovation. She has published in the Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics among other academic journals. She has received several international prizes such as the Brattle Prize. Mireia Giné also has an entrepreneurial background. She joined Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) in the early development phase. Currently she oversees the group’s business development in EMEA. She serves as an independent board member at Bank Sabadell, the fourth largest bank in Spain. She chairs the Audit and Control committee and is a board member of the Consumer Finance group within the bank.
