Biography

Dr. Kenneth Goh is Associate Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship (Education) and Academic Director of the Business Families Institute (BFI) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB), Singapore Management University (SMU). His research interest covers Innovation, Inclusion, Top Management Team and Board Dynamics, and Family Business.

Dr. Goh spearheads BFI’s engagement with business families and advisors to enhance their growth and impact. He also oversees the Innovation & Entrepreneurship major at LKCSB, which teaches students to scale their impact through innovation and new venture creation. His research on innovation has been published in the leading academic journals in management. He has also authored best-selling case studies on family business, innovation, entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship used by business schools globally. He co-authored Circular Economy Principles for Family Business and Wealth Stewardship, and The Inclusive Organising Playbook (inclusiveorg.com).

Dr. Goh was on the faculty of Ivey Business School before joining SMU. He has won teaching awards for sustainability, entrepreneurship, and leadership courses in Canada and Singapore. Before academia, Dr. Goh worked as an investment banker and entrepreneur. He also currently serves as the Secretary General of Singapore Aquatics.
