Dr. Selina Neri is Professor of Management and Corporate Governance at HULT International Business School (Dubai and London) where she teaches MBA and executive MBA courses in the areas of corporate governance, organizational behaviour, business and society, and luxury marketing. She is a research fellow of the Future of the Corporation Program of the British Academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences, a member of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and the GCC Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance. Her most recent research explores how members of boards of directors engage with sustainable value creation and how institutional investors can enable their engagement.
For over 24 years Professor Neri has worked in international executive management in the technology and luxury industries and has served as Non-Executive Director in the travel industry. She is a senior industry advisor in the area of corporate governance. In recognition for her services to governance she was included in “The Female FTSE Board Report 2016: 100 Women To Watch”, published by Cranfield School of Management for the UK Government, Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (Lord Davies Review).
Professor Neri holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Parma (Italy), an M.B.A. from the University of Clemson (USA) and a Ph.D. in Business Management from The British University in Dubai (UAE). She is fluent in four languages and a resident of Dubai.
