Biography

Dr. Selina Neri is Professor of Management and Corporate Governance at HULT International Business School (Dubai and London). She is a research fellow of the Future of the Corporation Program of the British Academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Her most recent research explores board engagement with corporate purpose and investor stewardship on ESG topics, featured in the Academy of Management Proceedings (2020).

 

Dr. Neri has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the Encyclopedia of Sustainable Management (2020) published by Springer, Business Ethics: A European Review (2019), The International Journal of Management Education (2019), The Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management (2018) andThe Journal of Studies in International Education (2018). 

 

For over 26 years Dr. Neri has worked in international executive management in the technology and luxury industries  and has served as Non-Executive Director in the travel industry. She is a senior industry advisor in the area of corporate governance. In recognition for her services to governance she was included in “The Female FTSE Board Report 2016: 100 Women To Watch”, published by Cranfield School of Management for the UK Government, Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (Lord Davies Review). 

 

Dr. Neri holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Parma (Italy), an M.B.A. from the University of Clemson (USA) and a Ph.D. in Business Management from The British University in Dubai (UAE). She is fluent in four languages and a resident of Dubai.
