Biography
Prof. Dr. Jessica Schmidt, LL.M. (Nottingham) holds the chair for civil law, German, European and international company and capital markets law at the University of Bayreuth.
She is a member of numerous international academic associations and of the European Commission’s Informal Expert Group on Company Law and Corporate Governance. She has published extensively on German and European company law as well as on European private law, capital markets law, private international law and comparative law.
