Joseph currently supervises undergraduates in corporate law and commercial law at the Universities of Cambridge and Edinburgh. He also teaches comparative corporate governance and supervises research students at the postgraduate level at the latter institution. Joseph is also a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge. His doctoral research comparatively analyses social enterprise regulatory frameworks across Europe, with a special emphasis on political path dependency and conceptual implications for theories of the firm. Prior to this, he read for an LLB, a taught LLM and a research LLM at the University of Edinburgh. He also spent some time in private practice at a large commercial law firm.
