Dr Dionysia Katelouzou is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London, specialising in the areas of comparative and transnational corporate governance, corporate law and financial market regulation, with a particular interest in shareholder activism, investor stewardship and empirical legal studies. Her current research looks at the role of institutional investors in producing corporate governance norms or pressuring rule change by legislature on a domestic, regional, international, and transnational scale and she is leading the Global Shareholder Stewardship research group, consisting of more than 80 members across 24 countries around the world.
She holds a Ph.D. and an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge and an LL.B. from the University of Athens. Dionysia’s articles have appeared in the Journal of Business Law, Journal of Corporate Law Studies, University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law, Virginia Law and Business Review, Journal of Comparative Law, among others. She is currently a Research Associate at the Centre of Business Research at the University of Cambridge and a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (London), while in the past she has been a Visiting Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania.
