Mr. Alexandre Dergatcheff is an investment professional with 20 years of experience across a number of internationally-recognised financial firms with a focus on Asset Allocation, Hedge Funds and Risk Management. Mr Dergatcheff commenced his career as a financial analyst in 1996 with Exane, a leading French stockbroker. A year later, he was appointed portfolio manager at SanPaolo Asset Management and subsequently joined Oddo & Cie in Paris where he developed his expertise in stock picking within the equity research team. In 2003, he was given the opportunity to lead the French small and mid caps research team within the Investment Bank division of UBS in London. Here he was also trusted with the marketing of the French equity product among institutional clients in Europe and in the USA. Mr Dergatcheff left UBS in 2009 and co-managed the Eur1 billion hedge fund Exane Gulliver.
Mr Dergatcheff earned an MBA from ESSEC Business School and a post graduate diploma in Banking and finance law from Sorbonne University. He lectured Money and Banking economics at Sorbonne University.
