Alexander F. Wagner is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Swiss Finance Institute – University of Zurich. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and degrees in economics and law from the University of Linz. His research on corporate finance and governance has appeared in leading academic journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Financial Economics. He is an independent counsel for PricewaterhouseCoopers and chairman of the Swipra foundation. His talk on "What really motivates people to be honest in business" was featured on TED.com.
