Professor Alessandro Benocci

Alessandro holds a LLB from Luiss University of Rome, a LLM from London School of Economics, a PhD in Banking Law from University of Siena, and a Post Doc in Corporate Law from University of California Berkeley. Currently, he is Professor of Business Law at University of Pisa and carries out research and teaching activities in areas of Company, Banking, Insolvency and Competition Law. Previously, he had appointments from University of Siena, University College London, and King's College London. He is author of 3 books and more than 100 articles in journals and edited books. He is admitted to the Bar and to the Supreme Court of Italy, and he is (or has been) member of boards of directors in listed and not listed, banking and industrial, companies and institutions, and no-profit organizations as well.
