Professor Arturo Capasso
Biography
Arturo Capasso gained a B.A. in Economics at the Università di Napoli in 1984, a Masters in Business Administration at Columbia University, New York in 1988 and a Ph.D. in Corporate Finance at the Università Cattolica Milano in 1990.
In 1990 he became Adjunct Professor Università Parthenope Napoli and in 1994 Assistant Professor Università di Napoli Federico II. Then in 1998 he became Associate Professor Università di Salerno/Università del Sannio and he has been a Full Professor at the Università del Sannio since 2002. From 2009 he is also Professor of Advanced Corporate Finance at Luiss G. Carli University in Rome.
His chief research interests lie in the areas of corporate strategy, corporate governance, finance (corporate finance, law and finance), project finance, maritime transportation (shipping industry, port management, shipping finance), private equity and venture capital.
