Biography

Henri (Phan Huy Hieu) TRAN is an Assistant Professor and Director of MSc Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (CFIB) at Burgundy School of Business, France. He is a finance lecturer and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on banking & finance, green finance, and corporate governance. His research activities unite two main strands of corporate governance: the composition of the board of directors and employee ownership. He is also interested in conducting empirical research on the role of banks as capital allocators in monitoring companies' Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. This includes areas such as advancing women's rights, environmental protection, pollution reduction, addressing climate change, and investing in green and sustainable technologies.
