Biography

Jay Heon Jung is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and the Course Director for MSc International Accounting and Finance programme at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass). He also serves as the Director of Academic Research at the Centre for Financial Analysis and Reporting Research (CeFARR) and is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.

Jay's research focuses on the roles of capital market intermediaries and corporate finance, with his work being published in top peer reviewed journals such as Journal of Accounting and Economics. His research has also been featured in prestigious media outlets such as Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, Le Monde, and NBC News Radio.

In addition to his research, Jay is an ad hoc Associate Editor of British Accounting Review and serves on the Editorial Boards of British Accounting Review and European Accounting Review. He also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for top peer reviewed journals, such as Journal of Accounting and Economics, The Accounting Review, and Management Science.

Jay has held visiting positions at Boston College, DePaul University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and University of Texas at Austin.
