Biography

Liselotte Engstam, with over 15 years as Chair and Non-Executive Board Director, has leveraged her executive experience at global technology and engineering companies from Europe, America, and India. She currently serves on the boards of listed companies TietoEvry, Zalaris, Cint and Transtema, and private company Ografy. Engstam also contributes as a board member to the World Economic Forum's Climate Governance Initiative Global Governing Board and Chairs the Boards Impact Forum.

 

As the founder and Chair of the think tank Digoshen, she offers guidance and education in board programs and facilitates board networks. Her academic research engagements span emerging board practices, and she has co-authored notable works on "Leading a Board - Chairs' practices across Europe” (with INSEAD) , “AI Leadership for Boards” (with Chalmers University of Technology) and "Dynamic Board Capabilities: Developing board practices that impact corporate renewal and performance" (with Royal Institute of Technology and INSEAD). Recognized globally for her contributions to modern corporate governance, Engstam has advised the European Commission on digitalization and corporate governance issues, and was appointed 2021 and 2022 by a global jury as one of top 100 globally in Modern Corporate Governance.

 

Her academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering and Sustainability, certification from INSEAD (IDP-C), and fellowships at Harvard Medical School's Institute of Coaching and the Salzburg Global Corporate Governance Forum.
