Biography

Philip Gavin is an Lecturer in Corporate and Financial Law at University College London specialising in company law, corporate finance law and the law of equity. His research focuses on directors' duties, corporate purpose and the company's interests, business judgment and the consideration of creditors in insolvent companies. His research has been published or is forthcoming in various journals including the Journal of Corporate Law Studies, The Irish Jurist, Dublin University Law Journal and the European Business Law Review. He is a book review co-editor of the Journal of Corporate Law Studies.
