Biography
Pedro had academic training obtained at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics (5-year undergraduate degree), Harvard Business School (MBA), and Iscte Business School (PhD), besides training programs in corporate governance in HEC Paris, Nova SBE, Portuguese Corporate Governance Institute, and London Business School. Pedro is a professor at Iscte Business School (Lisbon, Portugal), having had experience in management positions in the academic world (Associate Dean, director of a course with AMBA accreditation, and two courses that are ranked by the Financial Times), he was the person in charge for the AACSB Accreditation, and for the AMBA accreditation and reaccreditation processes. He has pursued to do quality research, including an article on corporate governance in the Harvard Business Review, to write books, and to have a regular presence in prominent newspapers and magazines. Simultaneously, Pedro also has experience in board positions in the corporate world (for example, as a non-executive Board member of the largest bank in Portugal).
