Biography

Business lawyer with extensive international experience across a wide range of industries including banking, telecoms, technology, power and construction. Areas of expertise include business law (including commercial contracting, M&A, and dispute resolution), corporate ethics & compliance, and corporate governance. Following my law degree from KUL Belgium and LL.M from NYU, I started my career in private practice in New York at Sullivan & Cromwell. I then went in-house taking on roles of increasing seniority, at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, PSEG Global (power development company part of the NYSE listed PSEG group), Carrirer1 International (NASDAQ and NeuerMarkt listed pan-European telecoms start up), and Verizon (NYSE listed US telecoms multinational), and eventually as General Counsel of Holcim (SIX listed Swiss construction materials multinational) and Ericsson (Nordic and US NASDAQ listed mobile infrastructure technology multinational) both global leaders in their respective industries. In some of those roles, including at Ericsson, I was a member of the executive leadership and secretary of the board. I worked and lived in the US, Europe and Asia.
