Biography

Tatjana Jevremović Petrović graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law in 1997. She obtained a Master’s Degree in 2001 at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law with a Master thesis Cross-Border Transfer of a Company’s Seat in the Law of the European Union and a PhD Degree in 2008 with a thesis Cross-Border Merger in the Comparative Law and EU Law. She was a research assistant (1998–2003) and research associate (2003–2009) at the Institute of International Politics and Economics in Belgrade. From 2009, she is Assistant Professor, from 2015 Associate Professor and from 2020 Full Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. She is a member of the Management Board of the Association of Business Lawyers of Serbia and the Editor-in-Chief of the Law and Economy since 2020. She is the Arbitrator in the Court of Honour (Serbian Chamber of Commerce) since 2018 and Member of the Extended Board of the Permanent Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia since 2021. She is the member of the The University of Belgrade Council since 2019 (currently for the second mandate) which is the paramount body of the University management, She is the author of many articles and several books in the area of Company Law, inlcuding Groups of Companies, Model Articles of Association, Company Law (in Sebian), as well as Serbia: Corporations and Partnerships, IEL Corporations and Partnerships, Kluwer Law International (in English).
