Dr Daniele D'Alvia

Dr. Avv. Daniele D'Alvia is an Associate Research Fellow at IALS in London. He is a Teaching Fellow in Banking and Finance Law at CCLS - Queen Mary University of London and the Module Convener of Comparative Law at Birkbeck College, University of London. He is a pioneer in law in Special Purpose Acquisition Companies' studies. In 2017, one of his papers on SPACs have been awarded the prestigious Colin B Picker Prize by the American Society of Comparative Law. He is regularly invited to speak and express his views on SPACs, and he has extensively written on the topic since 2013. His articles on SPACs have appeared on Journal of Banking Regulation, Bloomberg Law, ICC Forum, Fordham Journal of Corporate and Finance Law, Financial Mirror, SOLE 24 ORE, etc..
