Professor Vera Palea

Vera Palea, Ph.D., is an associate professor in corporate finance and reporting at the University of Torino. She holds a national qualification as a full professor. She is an academic fellow at the European Law Institute (ELI), hosted by University of Wien, where she is working on a project on corporate sustainability and capital maintenance. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Foundation for Business Reporting, where she chairs the working group on climate change, and a member of the Inter-governmental Working Group on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting at UNCTAD. She co-chairs the working group on climate risk assessment in the banking sector at the Italian Association of Financial Industry Risk Management.
