Her research identifies key competencies such as strategic foresight, cybersecurity oversight, ethical digital governance, and innovation leadership as foundational to board effectiveness in the digital era.
She is particularly interested in:
Digital Acumen in the Boardroom: How digital literacy, technological foresight, and data governance knowledge empower boards to guide digital transformation initiatives effectively.
Transformational Governance: The role of strategic leadership, agility, and innovation culture in enabling organizations to adapt to technological and market shifts.
ESG Integration in Digital Strategy: How ethical governance and sustainability principles intersect with data-driven decision-making, AI oversight, and digital ethics.
Board Diversity and Continuous Learning: Exploring how inclusive board composition and lifelong learning contribute to governance resilience and innovation.
Comparative Governance in Emerging Markets: Studying the unique challenges and opportunities for boards in Latin America, with a lens on Brazil’s regulatory environment, ownership structures, and corporate culture.
Her current doctoral research at Business School Lausanne contributes empirical evidence and actionable frameworks to address the capability gap in digital governance, with outputs including a Board Digital Acumen Assessment Tool and a Transformational Governance Framework tailored for emerging markets.
