Biography
Jonas Jølle is Head of Governance at Norges Bank Investment Management and responsible for the fund´s voting at shareholder meetings and engagement with companies and regulators on corporate governance. Jonas has 15 years' experience from public service and from management consulting in corporate finance. Prior to joining the Fund, Jonas was an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company in New York and Oslo, serving clients in the financial sector. The majority of his work was in corporate finance (investment strategy, asset management, active ownership, M&A). Jonas also has extensive public policy experience from serving as a Norwegian diplomat in the Middle East and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, and as a NATO peacekeeping officer in the Balkans.
