Mr Alessandro Poggio

Alessandro obtained a J.D. magna cum laude and dissertation printing honours from the University of Turin, in 1997. He started his career in the Turin office of law firm Brosio, Casati e Associati. After the merger of the firm with Allen & Overy, he worked for more than 7 years at Allen & Overy in Turin and London. As from 2005 he worked at Benessia Maccagno e Associati, then Benessia Jorio e Associati. He left in 2023 to found his own independent firm "Poggio Saraceno, Avvocati" with offices in Turin and Milan.



He has significative experience of a wide range of commercial and corporate finance transactions. His practice includes advising, on a regular basis, (often listed) companies on corporate and corporate governance issues and, with particular focus on the banking sector, on regulatory matters. He has also substantial experience in the field of international commercial law and in complex domestic and multi-jurisdictional disputes.
