Biography
Leen is currently Professor Corporate Governance at Nyenrode Business University, based at Breukelen, the Netherlands. Nyenrode is the only private business school in the Netherlands, established in 1946. Next to tht he holds a number of non-executive roles in several companies.Till September 1, 2017, he was Dean and Member of the University Board.
Leen was a Partner in the risk management advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for 10 years. Prior to joining PwC, Leen had 9 years experience within KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. He was educated at the Royal Military Academy and served the Army and the Airforce.
He is a sought after chairman for conferences and seminars and a speaker at conferences both nationally and internationally. He published many articles and a few books on governance, auditing and risk management.
