ECGI in collaboration with The University of Oxford, Saïd Business School, Review of Corporate Finance Studies (RCFS) and The Review of Financial Studies (RFS) organised an online workshop, "Corporations and Covid-19" on June 17, 2021. A physical conference will also be held in 2022. The two events are part of a wider ECGI project funded by Norges Bank Investment Management.
Prof. Andrew Ellul (Indiana University and ECGI), Prof. Itay Goldstein (The University of Pennsylvania), Prof. Paola Sapienza (Kellogg School of Management and ECGI) and Prof. Marco Becht (Université Libre de Bruxelles and ECGI) made opening remarks.
Ms. Carine Smith Ihenacho (Norges Bank Investment Management) presented her views on "Corporations and Covid-19: An Investor's Perspective".
Prof. Renée B. Adams (University of Oxford and ECGI) and Prof. Jiri Knesl (University of Oxford) presented their views on "How Covid-19 has affected the research landscape".
