More Than Compliance: Rethinking How Corporate Governance is Evaluated
The third online public lecture in this series was given by Lauren Cunningham of University of Tennessee, Knoxville on the topic, “More Than Compliance: Rethinking How Corporate Governance is Evaluated"
This session highlighted the broader scope of governance beyond legal frameworks and proposed how companies can enhance their governance practices through proactive assessments. Examples from practice illustrated the challenges companies can anticipate when performing a corporate governance evaluation, as well as the opportunities to leverage internal auditors and external parties in the process.
The public lecture series was organised by the Kelley School of Business Institute for Corporate Governance (ICG+E), in partnership with Ethical Systems and ECGI.
