Day 3 | The 2023 ECGI Annual Meeting: ECGI Working Paper Prize Finance Sessions

ECGI in collaboration with Copenhagen Business School organised a three-day event from 20-22 September 2023, on Corporate Purpose as part of the ECGI Responsible Capitalism Initiative of a multi-year ECGI project.
Day three of the event, "The 2023 ECGI Annual Meeting", was held in Copenhagen on 22 September 2023.
Marco Becht (Solvay Brussels School and ECGI) welcomed the day 3 of the conference and Jennifer Hill (Chair, ECGI Research Committee and Monash University) chaired the Working Paper Prize Session. Mike Burkart (Editor, ECGI Finance Series & London School of Economics) and Matteo Boaglio (Head of Institutional Special Projects and Policies, Intesa Sanpaolo) introduced the Intesa Sanpaolo Finance Prize winner, José Azar (IESE Business School and ECGI) Xavier Vives (IESE Business School and ECGI) for their paper
"Revisiting the Anticompetitive Effects of Common Ownership"
