Biography
Dr. Xi Li is the Associate Professor of Accounting at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Before joining the LSE in 2016, she worked at Fox School of Business, Temple University and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She earned her PhD in accounting from the London Business School in 2010. Dr. Li is currently a Research Fellow at Centre for Endowment Asset Management at Cambridge Judge Business School and Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR) at London School of Economics. Dr. Li’s research focuses on Financial Reporting and Disclosure, Debt Contracting, and Shareholder Engagement on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. She has published in top-tier academic journals in accounting and finance areas. Dr. Li’s research has won various international awards and grants. Her work has been cited in the media, including Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Motley Fool, PR Newswire and RI Quarterly.
