Biography
Verity Winship is a Professor at the College of Law at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and has served as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Interim Dean. She specializes in business law and complex litigation, and her scholarly work has been featured in prominent law journals and books. She is an honors graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. Before becoming a law professor, she was a law clerk in the federal trial court in Manhattan and in the federal court of appeals. She began her career practicing securities law in New York City.
