Biography
Dr. Yamanaka obtained a Doctor of Laws (Ph.D. in Corporate Law with a prize) in March 2016 from the University of Tokyo. Dr. Yamanaka served as a Fellow at the Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University from January to March 2019. He visited Yale Law School from January to December 2018, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg from January to March 2017, and the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford from October 2014 to March 2016. He holds an M.P.A. in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tokyo, and a B.A. in Political Science from Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan).
