Biography

Sheryl founded Boudicca Proxy Ltd in November 2011 after nearly 10 years of proxy solicitation and shareholder communications experience. She is an active practitioner and innovator in the industry, having managed over 150 UK and cross-border shareholder communications campaigns for small cap to blue chip companies, as well as collaborating on a further 100 campaigns since starting her career. Highlights of the transactions/events for which she has successfully executed proxy solicitation and shareholder communications programmes include: the 2011 General Meeting of the London Stock Exchange Group, Recommended Offer for Rhodia by Solvay, 2011 AGMs of France Telecom, Teleperformance, Nexans and Valeo, Recommended Offer for System C by McKesson Corporation, Mandatory Offers by PepsiCo for Wimm-Bill-Dann and JSC Lebedyansky, three successful proxy campaigns for Minerva plc and Takeover Defence, the Dana Petroleum Defence in 2010, Man Group's General Meeting in 2010, the March 2009 General Meeting of Xstrata Shareholders, the Demerger of the Americas Beverage Business from Cadbury Schweppes, the Requisitioned General Meeting of Northern Rock Shareholders in January 2008, the Acquisition of ICI by Akzo Nobel, the Acquisition of Scottish Power by Iberdrola, the Defence for BAA from Ferrovial's Takeover Offer and the Acquisition of P&O by Dubai Ports. Other works include information agent campaigns for G4S plc for their Proposed Offer for ISS in 2011 and for Equitable Life in 2007, as well as a data cleansing exercice for BSI British Standards.


Prior to starting Boudicca, Sheryl held executive roles at Georgeson London and Toronto, Salisbury Associates and Orient Capital. She is professionally qualified with the Certificate in Corporate Finance from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). She holds an Advanced Diploma in Data and Systems Analysis from the University of Oxford and previously studied Performing Arts.
