Biography
Full Professor of Private Comparative Law at University of Calabria since 2017 and Adjunct Professor of Law and Economics (Business and Company Law) at Luiss G. Carli, Rome since 2004.
National qualifications as Full Professor of Business and Company Law since 2016 and of Comparative Law since 2013.
Former Associate Professor of Business and Company Law at University of Calabria (2002-2017).
She graduated cum laude from Luiss G. Carli, Rome in 1987; M.Litt. Oxford, Linacre College, (1990-1994); Ph.D., University of Florence, (1992-1995). She was Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School (MA, U.S.A.) in 2010 and Visiting Scholar at various Universities in Europe (Oxford; Essex) and U.S.A. (California, Davis; Southern Methodist University, Dallas).
She currently is: Non-Executive Director at SNAM S.p.a. since 2013, Chairman of Sustainability Committee and member of Control and Risk Committee; Non-Executive Director at Banca Apulia S.p.a. (Intesa San Paolo Group) since 2016.
She was: Non-Executive Director at Veneto Banca S.p.a., Chairman of the Nomination Committee (2016-2017); Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Control and Risk Committee at Banca Profilo S.p.a. (2012-2015); Member of the Board of Internal Auditors of Telecom s.p.a. (2012).
She is the author of two books (monographs) on "Civil Liability for Misleading Financial Information", 2000 and on "Role of General Meeting in Corporate Governance", 2012 and of several chapters and articles in the fields of Italian, English and US company law and corporate governance.
