Mr Robert Cameron Walker

Robert (“Bob”) Walker is a sustainability consultant working with clients in London and Montreal. Bob has thirty years of experience in the sustainable investing field helping lead the development of the industry in Canada and internationally. He formerly served as Executive Director of the Responsible Investment Association and Vice-President, Head of ESG Services at NEI Investments, a leading Canadian asset manger focused on sustainable investing. He is a Climate Governance Expert for the Canadian Climate Law Initiative established by the University of British Columbia and York University in partnership with Oxford University. Bob is the recipient of a 2021 Clean50 Lifetime Achievement Award. Bob is past Chair of the Board of International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN). Led by investors responsible for assets under management of US$70 trillion, ICGN advances the highest standards of corporate governance and investor stewardship worldwide. He currently chairs the Nominations and Governance Committee of the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), a top global environmental think-tank. Bob also serves on the board of Vajrakila Innovations, a Finnish app-development company advancing smart earth technologies and citizen science in support of the environment. Bob holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is owner of Le Chardonnier, a vineyard located in the Mâconnais wine region of France.
