Biography

Rob Melville is the Professor of Internal Auditing and Director of the MSc in Management at the Cass Business School, which with over 180 students is one of the biggest of its kind in Europe. Before joining Cass in 1990, he worked in information systems auditing in government, financial services and industry.



Rob is an active researcher, author and speaker in internal control, corporate governance and internal auditing. His PhD addressed the contribution internal auditors can make to strategic management, in particular the use of frameworks such as the Balanced Scorecard. Rob is a professionally qualified member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the British Computer Society.
