MA (University of Cambridge), MPhil, DPhil (University of Oxford)
Professor Pollitt's research interests include industrial economics, privatisation and regulation of utilities, energy economics, the measurement of productive efficiency, and the relationship between Christian ethics and best practice business behaviour. He has advised the UK Competition Commission, the New Zealand Commerce Commission, Ofgem, Ofwat, the DTI, the World Bank, and the European Commission.
Professor Pollitt is Head of the Economics & Policy subject group at Cambridge Judge Business School, which analyses how economics can improve growth, business performance, and environmental outcomes.
