Biography

Konstantinos is a corporate governance scholar. He holds a Chair in Accounting and Finance at AMBS since 2015. He has been a visiting researcher at several institutions including Drexel University, the University of Miami and the University of Texas at Austin. He regularly participates at international conferences and has been invited to present his research at academic institutions and business organisations around the world. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of Corporate Governance: An International Review, a premium academic outlet for global corporate governance research.



Konstantinos has twenty years of experience conducting research across most areas of corporate governance, with a particular focus on executive compensation and how suboptimal governance practices may destroy stakeholder wealth. His recent focus is on the interests and impact of various stakeholders, such as employees and labour unions, on firm decision making and governance. He has published a number of papers in world leading and international journals, including the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of International Money and Finance, European Accounting Review,among others.



Konstantinos has previously served as an associate editor and editorial board member for Corporate Governance: An International Review. He also served on the editorial board of the British Journal of Management during 2007-2014. He acts as an ad hoc reviewer for several academic journals, including Abacus; British Accounting Review; Journal of Banking and Finance; Journal of Business Ethics; Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting; Journal of Corporate Finance, as well as research organisations such as the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) UK, the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
